The Lerdo Minimum Security Facility is the lowest-security building in the Lerdo detention complex on Industrial Farm Road. It typically holds people classified as minimum security and some who are serving short sentences. If your loved one is here on a charge with bail set, a release is often straightforward.
Who is held at the minimum security facility
This part of the Lerdo complex generally houses people with lower-level charges, often misdemeanors, and inmates working through shorter sentences. For families, that usually means lower bail amounts and a quicker path out the door when a bond is posted.
How a release works here
The steps are the same as anywhere in the county. We need the full name, date of birth, and the facility. We confirm the bail amount, quote the 10% premium with a payment plan, and complete everything remotely before posting the bond at Lerdo. If a person is already sentenced rather than awaiting trial, bail may not apply, and we will tell you that honestly rather than take a fee for nothing.
Locating your person
The Lerdo complex has several buildings, and people move between them and the Central Receiving Facility based on classification and capacity. If you are not certain which facility is holding your loved one, we will locate them across the entire system for free.
